| The Science Complex is a new $80 M addition at the University of Guelph. The building houses teaching and research laboratories to meet the growing needs of the campus. The entire science complex will add about 390,000 ft2 of research, teaching and administrative space and be home to about 2,600 faculty, staff and students. |

| Renovations to the Burke Science Building totaling $38.0 M have taken a sustainable approach to site, construction, design and energy consumption. The project has been modeled under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) checklist for sustainable design. New services to improve energy efficiency, air quality and reduce consumption are included. |

| The Durham District School Board is responsible for public education in the rural settings of Uxbridge, Brock and Scugog Townships and the urban settings of Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. DDSB growth areas within Durham Region and has retained Seawood to commission a number of public and secondary schools. |
